Incorrect Anime Length
Please be informed that the correct AKB0048 anime length are as follows:
- Episode 01 - The Indelible Dream: 28:22 (Sub), 29:52 (Dub)
- Episode 02 - The Chosen Lights to Episode 13 - For Their Smiles: 24:02 (Sub), 25:32 (Dub)
- Episode 14 - The Young Girls' Trial to Episode 25 - The Road to the Stage: 24:02 (Sub), 26:32 (Dub)
- Episode 26 - NO NAME...: 23:45 (Sub), 26:49 (Dub)
Some anime sites exhibit the AKB0048 episodes with length shorter than original. For instance, in some sites, subbed episode 1 is 23:47 minutes instead of the original 28:22. The following subbed episodes are 23:47 instead of 24:02. In some sites also, the dubbed episodes which are episode 2 onwards are 24:02 instead of the original 25:32 (season 1) / 26:32 (season 2). I know a lot of people upload fanart to here that they grab off of facebook or wherever else, but would it kill anyone to credit it? If you're grabbing it off pixiv, it takes only a few seconds to find the user id of the artist. Credit is good, loved, and appreciated and helps others to check out the other works that artist might have done as well.
In turn, I think if the people that steal the fanart uploaded here to upload to facebook would credit the original artist, that would be great as well.

It's the news we were all hoping for! A few hours ago it was announced on the official website that there would be a new season of the anime coming in 2013!
