Inheritor of the Light (輝きを継ぐ者, Kagayaki wo Tsugumono) is the 19th episode and 6th episode of Season 2 of the AKB0048 anime series.
Summary[]
As usual, the elected members have a concert, and shown practicing. It reveals that Mikako Minamino, a photographer, is the former Center Nova, Minami Minegishi the 5th. Mimori suddenly gets a fever a day before the concert and Nagisa becomes her stand-in. Mimori's fever, as Tsubasa and Mikako stated, is the 'Fever of Succession', which is the fever before succeeding someone. Kirara of Succession react to Mimori and in the last few minutes of the episode, and Tsubasa is surprised when she sees who Mimori will succeed.

- Tsubasa mentioned that she had a fever of visions just like Mimori, and while during those visions, Tsubasa learned that she will suceed Mariko a few years back.
- It is very highly likely that the person Mimori sees in her sleep will be the one who she succeeds.
- In Episode 20, it is clear as to who will she succeed - Mariko Shinoda.
