Mimori's Revolution (美森革命, Mimori Kakumei) is the 20th episode and 7th episode of Season 2 of the AKB0048 anime series.
Summary[]
Having finally recovered from her fever, Mimori finally begins to undergo the ritual of succession, with help from Tsubasa. Ushiyama informs the remaining girls of a special contest to celebrate Mimori's succession. However, they become worried when Megumi informs them that Mimori will probably be like a completely different person after her succession. Takamina tries to comfort Kanata about her failure to succeed, but soon begins to come to the conclusion that the only reason Kanata hasn't succeeded is because Takamina is holding her name. The day of the concert arrives, and after a performance by the 77th Generation, Mimori reveals that she has taken the name of Mariko Shinoda, the name Tsubasa once held. The girls congratulate her, and Kanata promises Mimori that she, too, will soon succeed.
